1. Include the email in Microsoft Outlook

1.2 Microsoft Outlook

1.3 The «Oauth 2.0» protocol problem

If you have a request for entering passwords, although the password is 100 % correct, then you have an authorization protocol problem.

Google has increased the securing of its online services and switched the Gmail application to the «Oauth 2.0» protocol. Since MS Outlook does not yet support the «Oauth» protocol, the request for entering passwords comes. So it is not due to your Outlook settings.

«Oauth» is an open standard authorization protocol that can access the third party to user data without having to know the user's password. In this way, users no longer have to pass on their user names and passwords, because «Oauth» acts as a «general key», with which applications can access the data of a user and act in its name. Even if you have no problem with entering the password, you should change.

2. Import contacts from Gmail into Microsoft Outlook

Log into your Gmail account. On the left you will find the “Contact„.
