How to use Ccleaner

CCLEANER – free program, offers the user set of functions to clean and optimize computer performance. The program allows the deletion of temporary files, registry keys, complete deletion of files from the trash and much more. CCLEANER can be downloaded for free from the official website ccleaner.com. The installation of the program is common. The program also has support for the Romanian language.

Even if the CCleaner program is installed on many computers, it is not used properly. Even sometimes users do not know how to use CCleaner, or just open the program window and press the only button «Run Cleaner». Only this is not all that can be done with this utility.

What do I eliminate and what do I leave?

Impmically, Ccleaner eliminates and cleanses a lot of things. Only we can change the parameters used by default. Let’s start emptying the browser cache. Browser’s cache – different elements of the pages visited on the Internet, which are used by the browser during subsequent access to load the page faster. Thus, emptying the cache of the browser even if it will delete the temporary files on the hard drive, releasing a small amount of space, it can cause slow loading of the pages. Especially if the browser’s cache is cleaned often.

Another point of cleaning by default, but which slows the opening of files in Windows – «iconite cache» in the heading «Windows Explorer». After emptying the iconic cache, at the subsequent opening of the file, which contains, for example, images, all miniatures will be created again, which is not always useful for performance.

In the «Applications» tab in CCLEANER you can delete temporary files for different computer installed programs – emptied cache and browsers history, except for Internet Explorer (it is in the «Windows»). Again, by default, the temporary data of these programs are eliminated, but it is not always necessary – they do not occupy much space on the computer and, in addition, for some programs (for example, programs for work with graphics, office applications) it is good to have, for example, the list of recent files, with which you have worked – if you use something, and when cleaning these elements, only these elements are cleaned. Respective.

Cookie files

By default, Ccleaner eliminates all cookies, however, this does not always increase safety on the Internet and, in some cases, we would need to leave some of the cookie files on the computer. To configure what will be erased, and what will be left, choose the «Cookies» section of the «Options» menu. On the left side will be displayed all the addresses of the sites, for which cookies are saved on the computer. By default they will be deleted. The list located on the right are included cookies, which are «considered important» and which are not deleted-cookie for popular sites.

Maybe you will want to add other sites in this list. For example, if you do not want to enter the logging data for Twitter every time, with the search feature find the twitter.com site in the list on the left and clicking the corresponding arrow move it to the right list. This is how you can do for other sites, which need logging in.

Cleaning the register

In the heading of the «Register» menu CCLEANER there is the possibility to find and solve problems in the Windows register. About the fact that the cleaning of the rigist will accelerate the computer is said a lot. I, for example, do not recommend the use of this element. To accelerate the computer will be useful to clean the self -grant and deactivate the services, cleaning the register – I do not think. The Windows register contains several hundred thousand keys, the cleaning programs eliminate only a few hundred, and can even «clean» some keys needed for the proper functioning of the computer. Thus, the possible risk for the user is higher compared to the real effect of the action. Cleaning Self -Start

In the «Start» section of the «Tools» menu you can configure the automatic start of the programs when starting Windows, as well as deactivating extensions installed in browsers. It should be noted that these settings have an impact on the functioning of the system and the functioning of the browser to some extent.

In the list of programs that automatically start right-click the name of the program, which you want to disable, and press «disabilities» (it will be better than «delete», because in the future you will want to return to automatic start).
